Masterbatches has a wide range of applications in the plastic industry, including consumer goods, packaging, home appliances, building materials, automotive, medical and other industries.
The materials that make up black masterbatch are:
A. Carbon black; B. Carbon black carrier (LDPE/PP); C. Carbon black wetting agent; D. Carbon black dispersant; E. Other processing aids.
There are three processing methods: Single screw Extruder Process, Twin screw Extruder Process, Banbury Mixer Extruder Process.
After the materials are premixed, pulled into granules by a single screw extruder. The general carbon black concentration is 18-20%.
After the materials are mixed by a mixer, they are pulled into granules by a Corating twin screw extruder, water ring or under water pelletizer. The carbon black concentration of the masterbatch is generally 25-32%.
Use a mixer to mix the materials, add them into banburymixer for kneading, and then feed them into a twin-screw extruder through a feeder. After water ring or underwater pelletizing, the masterbatch generally has a carbon black concentration of 40-45%.
